Love Turow, but couldn’t wait till this book was finished! Like watching a puddle dry up. If it wasn’t for his beautiful prose, I would have walked away. Good ending though!

Really well written with a great plot and superb character development. Terrific follow up for anyone who remembers Presumed Innocent. The affection of Sandy Stern the Argentinian Alejandro Stern is so well done. You can almost hear his accent. Hard to beat the story and the characters.

Halfway through I remembered why I stopped buying Scott Turow books. Silly, save your money. Get Sycamore Row by John Grisham instead.

The writing is exquisite and the plot twist and turns are never overplayed nor totally expected . A delight
