Born filled with hate, greed and lust, Samuel McNutt, when he is ten years old finds predestination might be on his trail. An old haunted house holds the answer. Samuel finds Sally, a beautiful young woman, living with her mother and blind father in a shack on the edge of a swamp. Because the shack is sitting on McNutt property he thinks he can have his way with her, however he finds he can't. Later she comes into his life in such a way, he is tormented until his death.
